A look into what we can expect and achieve in the future of augmented reality.
The development of this was done in Unity.
The FOV of the Hololens is only about 20° big, so because of this the biggest challenge was how to create a proper UI and UX for a AR HMD (Head Mounted Display).
My main task on this project was to transfer the 2D Layouts created by our Graphics Team into a new "Dimension", the goal here was to create depth and something what you want to touch. The final product archived this by layering the different UI elements like Text and Backdrop elements on different depth layers.
The Hololens was in every way a challenging but awarding experience to work with.
